# Splicer Servicing and Maintenance

As an Official Sumitomo Splicer and Cleaver Service Centre, we can help with both planned maintenance or emergency repairs. Our fully qualified engineers offer two comprehensive service and repair packages, all carried out within our North Wales manufacturing facility.

Maintenance and upkeep of valued equipment and tooling is paramount to ensuring efficiency and continuity of the job and unplanned downtime can be extremely costly to you and your client. We can offer a full service calibration on Sumitomo T71, T72, and T55 fusion splicers and FC6 & FC8 cleavers to ensure optimal performance and complement your manufacturer's warranty. We know that time is money, so our aim is to service your equipment when your time allows and/or to provide a rapid repair service to get your equipment out in the field and working for you. **Browse our service packages below.**

## Option 1: Health Check Service

Our comprehensive Health Check Service includes:

- Carry Case Clean-Up
- Visual Check of Splicer and External Valet
- Deep Clean of Internal Workings of Splicer and Cleaver
- Check the Basic Splicer Working Specifications
- Software Check and Upgrade (if required)
- Pat testing (if power lead supplied)

**Available on any model of Sumitomo Splicer or Cleaver.**

## Option 2: Full Calibration Service

Our full Calibration Service includes the following:

- Splicer Service Calibration including all Optical Adjustments, AIC and APDS
- Cleaver Service Calibration
- Carry Case Clean-Up
- Visual Check of Splicer and External Valet
- Deep Clean of Internal Workings of Splicer and Cleaver
- Check the Basic Splicer Working Specifications
- Software Check and Upgrade (if required)
- Pat testing (if power lead supplied)

**Available on T-71, T-72, and T-55 Fusion Splicer models and FC-6 & FC-8 series Cleavers.**
